38 Special, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1966 manufactured revolver that has retained 98-99% of the original blue finish with only a small amount of freckling at the muzzle, along a few of the projecting edges, on the bearing surfaces of the ejector rod, and a light turn ring on the cylinder. The sides of the hammer are still factory bright, although there are a few small specks of freckling on the spur. The checkered walnut Colt medallion grips are in excellent shape as well with only very minor wear and only some very minor flattening of the points. The lock-up is still tight and the action functions flawlessly. The revolver is housed in its original two-piece woodgrain box (numbered to the gun) which is in very good condition intact with some light-moderate surface scuffs and edge wear. This is a great 1960s Colt DA revolver in excellent overall condition and would make a great addition to any collection.FFL
